Donald Trump has greeted staff at his Aberdeenshire golf resort after landing in Scotland, where he said 'it's great to be home' upon his arrival earlier today which saw him given the full red carpet treatment.
The former president landed in Aberdeen on Monday morning, saying earlier on Truth Social - the social media platform he owns - that he was visiting the country to cut the ribbon on a 'spectacular' but controversial second golf course there.
After opening the course at the Menie Estate on the east coast today, he will tomorrow travel to his Turnberry course on the west coast, before heading to his golf course in Doonbeg in Ireland when he leaves Scotland.
