PH AIR SPACE SHUTDOWN AFFECTS FLIGHTS
Philippine Airlines says that up to 40 flights will be affected when the Philippine Air Traffic Management Center conducts corrective maintenance on May 17, 2023, the second this month. The first was held this Wednesday, May 3, although the short notice by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) caught several passengers unaware as flights were suspended as a result. The CAAP announced the corrective maintenance operations only on May 2 following the power outage at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) the day before.
