The K-pop community and industry are in shock after entertainment company, Fantagio, confirmed that Astro’s Moonbin had passed away. He was 25 years old.
Moonbin had reportedly taken his life and was found dead in his home by his manager at about 8:10 pm KST/ 7.10am ET on April 19.
“We are currently discussing the possibility of an autopsy to determine the precise cause of death,” Korean police revealed.
Fans are keeping the Moon family in their thoughts, particularly his sister Sua, a fellow K-pop star who serves as the rapper in the girl group Billlie.
The idol siblings were known for their close relationship, and one of their last public sibling appearances just proved how strong their connection was.
