Former Labor staffer Alexander Matters found not guilty of raping fellow university student

Former Labor staffer Alexander Matters has been cleared of raping a fellow ANU student in 2021. The case ran in the ACT Supreme Court for five days in the lead up to Easter, with the jury delivering a not guilty verdict after a short deliberation.
