Legendary Indian footballer and Hamro Sikkim Party Chief Bhaichung Bhutia sat in protest over demand of arrest of goons who allegedly attacked a gathering of civil society activists in Sikkim on April 8. Bhutia said that BJP is the main culprit while the Sikkim government is a "puppet". He said, “BJP is the main culprit, while the Sikkim government is a puppet. They shut down the entire thing. We wanted to have a rally for the people of the state. We'll be on dharna until everyone named in FIR is arrested. Our people were beaten.”
