As the Karnataka Assembly polls approach, a war of words between the candidates and parties have taken a significant pace. While the BJP took a swipe at Congress for its dilemma on the Karnataka CM’s face, the latter claimed that BJP is dependent on filmy faces. Congress leader Randeep Surjewala targeted BJP over the same, saying that the BJP is running short of prominent faces. Surjewala also claimed that neither CM Bommai nor his ministers are ready to contest from their respective seats.
He claimed that BJP is just taking out their frustration on the Congress party. He also countered that CM Bommai has lost his popularity to such an extent that his image is not even visible on campaign posters. Validating Surjewala’s claims, former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah confirmed that he would be contesting from Varuna Constituency. He also exuded confidence in Congress’ victory in Karnataka Polls.
