Around 90 officers from London’s Metropolitan Police Service have been moved from tackling organised crime and counter-terrorism duties to investigate their own colleagues instead. Britain’s biggest police force has been beset by scandals in recent years, with officers accused of domestic violence, sexual violence, or having criminal convictions. Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley says he expects hundreds of officers to be removed from the force over the next two to three years. Report by Jonesia.
