First up, we have the Birmingham Festival - a free 10 day event starting late July to mark the first anniversary of the Commonwealth Games. Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has been announced as a patron of the festival along with former gold-medal winning Team England Netball Captain, Ama Agbez.
Plans have been announced to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III in Birmingham on May 6. Centenary Square has been selected as the chosen destination for the official celebrations in Birmingham. The full details of the entertainment programme will be announced nearer the date.
Then throughout July we'll see the return of the Black Country Festival in honour of Black Country day. The festival covers events taking place across Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall & Sandwell including the Halesowen and Stourbridge Carnival, Musicom and Brier Fest. A day to day guide will be released soon.
