Hawkeye is imprisoned in Fort Henry. Alice goes to Duncan and asks him to intervene in order to free Munro. Duncan, however, decides he won't help him and lies, telling Alice that he'd failed in his attempt to free her father. The next day, a meeting between Montcalm and Murno takes place.
Episode 15- THE LITTLE ISLAND
Exhausted, Munro, Duncan, Alice and those who have survived the massacre reach Fort Edward. Munro has a violent clash with General Webb, who he blames for the massacre, and leaves with Duncan and a contingent of soldiers in search of Cora. Alice stays behind at the fort and convinces Gamut to accompany her to go ask Hawkeye for help.
Episode 16- MUGUA'S ESCAPE
It is winter, and a terrible storm beats down on the forest. Hawkye and the Mohicans, along with Gumat, Alice, Duncan, and Munro, reach the place where the massacre had occured, and there they pick up the traces of the Huron's bivouac. Alice is ill, but doesn't want to slow down the pace of the march. Our friends arrive before a narrow canyon opening up between two rocks. There Magua has posted some of his Huron, and only because of Big Snake's sixth sense, reinforced by the ability of Uncas and Hawkeye, do our friends avoid perishing in an ambush.
Episode 17- TICONDEROGA
Alice's condition worsens, but the girl is able to pull herself together.
Led by Hawkeye as they make their way northward on Magua's tail, our group encroaches French territory, and all except for Uncas and Big Snake fall prisoner to the French and are taken to Fort Ticonderoga. Montcalm is in the fort in order to negotiate an important alliance with Chief Hendrick, the great Chief of the Iroquois.
