After his work (two albums) with the famous US-Hard-Rocker Blue Cheer and the solo work Red Weather, guitar player Leigh Stephens formed 1969 the Hard-Rock-Band Silver Metre. With the British Drummer Mick Waller from the Jeff Beck Group, as well as Pete Sears (Bass, Organ, Piano) from Steamhammer and Jack Reynolds (7) aka Harry Reynolds (Vocals), the Quartet recorded 1969 only the self-titled album at Trident Studios (London). Originally released on the National General Records, Producer and Band-Manager was that time Tom Donahue. Leigh Stephens and Mick Waller also founded later 1971 the Rock-Band Pilot (9), they produced 1972 also only one self-titled album. Harry Reynolds was later member of the Project Ashman Reynolds.
