Jury selection in the trial of artist Pras Michel, who rose to fame in the 1990s as part of hip-hop group The Fugees, began on Monday (March 27) in Washington.
The case involving the 50-year-old Haitian-American alleges he played a role in an international conspiracy and corruption scandal led by fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, and could see Michel sent behind bars for decades.
