Jabalpur.After knowing the benefits of crop insurance, most of the farmers of the district are joining the PM Crop Insurance Scheme. Farmers who take loan for crops through Kisan Credit Card are connected to it. However, now they have the option of continuing with the scheme or opting out of it. For the current Rabi season, 30 thousand 6 hundred farmers have got their crops insured. Due to the recent hailstorm and untimely rains, they will also be able to get relief from crop damage through this scheme.
