On the lead up to Record Store Day 2023 on 22 April, GlasgowWorld has been visiting the city’s independent vinyl retailers.
While Ian Smith, founder of indie label Last Night From Glasgow and its adjoining shop Music From Big Blue, agrees with the principle of the event, he believes the commercialisation is making stores worse off.
