Properties worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in a massive fire that broke out at a market in Kokrajhar, Assam, on March 19. At least 12 shops, and business establishments were gutted in the blaze. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Sort circuit appears to be prima facie, but the actual reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
