While crit races almost always make for a fun watch, the actual participants might beg to differ.
This video, shared by Caio Machado, shows a cyclist experiencing a gnarly crash while doing a lap around a closed circuit and sliding several feet across the road.
"Took this during the NL Crit Series 2022, Ronde van de Orteliusstraat, in Amsterdam," Caio told us. "It was a fixed gear round and the crash happened in the seventh lap. Two cyclists were taken out in total but thankfully, none of them got badly injured."
