A couple revealed their chaotic mountain proposal - which included a moose charge, an exchange of rugby tackles and a momentary ring loss.
Morgan Carter, 21, proposed to Natalie Bucklein, 23 under the guise of a romantic snowy mountain hike with his brother Riley, 23 and his wife Jess, 24.
The four set off on the hike and Morgan was ready to pop the question, when a moose charged towards them.
He tackled his now fiancée to the ground to protect her - and the moose wandered off in the other direction.
Riley and Jess then told the couple it was time to pose for a photograph and Morgan got down on one knee.
As he got into position, Natalie jumped onto Morgan out of shock - sending him plummeting to the ground.
As Morgan fell he dropped the ring which got lost under the snow.
Thankfully after a short search he found it - and Natalie said yes.
Morgan a wastewater operation technician from Blackfoot, Idaho, USA said: "Jess was getting ready to record the proposal and had started the video.
"I then saw a moose coming towards us - it was about 15ft away.
"I instinctively grabbed Natalie and ended up throwing her into the snow."
Natalie added: "He grabbed me by my hood and threw me back.
"I nearly fell into the creek.
"I wanted to leave at that point, I had no suspicion he was about to propose.
"The moose stood there for a second and then ran off."
Jess and Riley then told the couple to pose for a photograph.
Natalie's suspicions were raised when Morgan didn't get closer to her to 'pose'.
Morgan added: "I was nervous before but then I thought if I can deal with a moose, I can deal with this."
Morgan then got down on one knee and popped the question- and Natalie jumped on him in both joy and shock.
Natalie added: "I tackled him in shock, I was excited and happy but also nervous."
Morgan said: "Once I got up I said okay will you marry me.
"I thought I had lost the ring as I dropped it in the snow.
"It was a train wreck."
The pair then celebrated their engagement by finishing their walk and eating hot wings.
