former Groovy Soca Monarch the lead singer of Kes the Band says the Soca Monarch competition "shouldn't disappear" but that there is the opportunity to redesign it next year.
He told Juhel Browne at the Fete with the Saints over the weekend that the organisers should learn from the mistakes of the past and whoever organises the next Soca Monarch "will have to address what those issues are in the redesign."
Kes also has a suggestion for the date of the next Soca Monarch.
