A plan for the establishment of wind farms for the supply of electricity in this country was announced by the Prime Minister at the Energy Conference at the Hyatt Regency hotel.
However, it seems that while both the Prime Minister and the President of Guyana agree that there is need to focus on renewable energy, there is still a long future for oil and natural gas in this region.
