Thousands travellers in Hong Kong flocked to newly resumed border checkpoints on Sunday (January 8) to enter mainland China as quarantine-free travel finally arrived after nearly three years of Covid-19 closures and restrictions.
China reopened its borders on Sunday, inbound travellers no longer have to quarantine or do a Covid test on arrival after entering China.
