Some medical experts are warning eight new medical "pet" scanners promised by the Andrews government during the Victorian election could sit idle because there's not enough staff to operate them. Nuclear medicine technicians are calling on the government to start training more staff to run the desperately needed equipment now, or risk delays to cancer treatment.
