Edinburgh review of the year September 2022: The Queen's cortege arrives on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's cortege drove down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, before heading to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Her Majesty's coffin remained overnight before being taken to lay in rest at St Giles' Cathedral.
