Victor Young conducted the session (organizer-leader Goldkette himself did not actually perform in any of the orchestras that bore his name). This was one of two major 1929 song hits that Nick Lucas performed on-screen in “Gold-Diggers Of Broadway.” The other better-remembered tune was “Tip-Toe Thru’ The Tulips (With Me),” which you can find arranged in a similarly delightful manner on the flipside of this Goldkette 78.
