RMT's General Secretary Mick Lynch says two thirds of RMT members rejected the latest pay offer from the government because it is "undervalued in terms of the pay element" and has "unacceptable" conditions. A month of rail disruption has begun today, with workers pressing ahead with two 48-hour strikes at Network Rail and 14 train companies from Tuesday and Friday.
