EPISODE #7 of 8: “Tongues of Fire”
Surprisingly, the disciple who denied knowing Jesus later preached the Gospel and 3,000 people were saved. Before being known as Pentecost, the feast was called Shavuot, the Jewish holy day.
SERIES: "Much Like Peter"
The Sea of Galilee was where Yeshua/Jesus began His ministry by calling the disciples to follow Him. Peter was an impulsive man who often spoke and acted before thinking things through. Yet, the Messiah saw that this simple fisherman would become the de facto leader of the twelve apostles and a powerful voice for the gospel.
From Israel, we present teaching by Dr. Jeffrey Seif, dramatic reenactments by Israeli actors, and interviews with Israeli believers. David and Kirsten Hart join into discussions from the studio as we seek out applications and evidence of how each of us who follow the Lord is ‘much like Peter’.
We invite you to watch our weekly television program "Our Jewish Roots" as we bring you Bible teaching with an emphasis on Israel, prophecy, and the Jewish roots of the Christian faith.
