British vocal duo formed of sisters Yvonne Wheatman (Sue Glover) and Heather Wheatman (Sunny Leslie) born in Madras, India. The two sisters tried several times the path of success both as duo and as soloists but the real success has been achieved as session back singers.The duo debuted on record in 1963 under the name The Myrtelles. They recorded under other names such as The Stocking Tops and Sue & Sunshine. As session singers the duo found themselves in demand recording with amongst many others with Dusty Springfield, Elton John, Lulu, David Bowie, Cerrone, Python Lee Jackson, James Last, Frank Zappa, Tom Jones, Joe Cocker, for three years they made also part of the British pop group The Brotherhood of Man.
