Astralis players Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander and Andreas 'Xyp9x' Højsleth have hinted that they're making a return to competing in CS:GO.
Both announced in May 2020 that they were taking a leave of absence from professional play due to issues of burnout, the length of which was not revealed. However, both have now teased that they are back to playing the game, which could herald a return to competition in the near future.
The hints do come not long after the team announced the signing for Bubzkji, formerly of MAD Lions, who has yet to make his debut for the squad. It raises the question of who Astralis will field in the upcoming ESL One Cologne tournament, and what may become of Bubzkji and Es3tag, who also joined following Gla1ve and Xyp9x's temporary departure, should the original players return.
Here's everything you need to know about the latest update on the Astralis roster situation.
