The head of Queensland's troubled forensics lab has been accused of lying in order to cover up a disastrous decision that led to thousands of samples going untested, and potential crimes unsolved. Suspended Managing Scientist Cathie Allen has started giving evidence at the commission of inquiry into DNA testing at the state-run lab.
