DIG DR. MAQSOOD AHMED ATTENDS KOREA POLICE WORLD EXPO ON 77th POLICE NATIONAL DAY; MET KOREAN POLICE CHIEF
DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed was invited to attend Korea Police World Expo 2022 also known as K-Cop hosted by Korean National Police Agency and Incheon Metropolitan City in Incheon city of South Korea on 77th Police National Day. President South Korea Yoon Suk-yeol was the chief guest of the expo. The delegations from 20 different countries and high-ranking officials in the field of security attended and visited booths of participating companies in the exhibition hall.
DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed also met with the Korean Police Chief Yoon Hee Keun who shared his experience on how Korean National Police Agency was able to detect the crime rate up-to 98%.
Korea Police World Expo introduces Smart Policing Technology that will lead the revitalization of the security industry through the core technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Marking its 4th anniversary this year, Korea Police World Expo greatly helped in fostering the security industry with 144,000 police officers and staff to introduce the latest products and technologies in the security and safety industries.
In his meetings with various stake holders including Korean Police Officers, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed emphasized the need for the development of high-tech police security systems, scientific investigation techniques, and related technologies to cope with various evolving and diversifying crimes increasing day by day.
DIG Dr. Maqsood Ahmed also met with the representatives of different companies on the sidelines of the exhibition and showed his keen interest to adopt advance technology for Sindh Safe Cities Project.
The DIG also visited Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency where he analyzed the methodology adopted by Seoul police to cope up the crimes.
