UK PM Truss quits after just six weeks, leaving Tories in chaos
British Prime Minister Liz Truss announces her resignation just six weeks after taking office and says she will stay on as Prime Minister until a successor is chosen to serve as Tory leader. The end for Truss comes after a key minister resigned and many Tory Members of Parliament rebelled over an important vote in chaotic scenes at the House of Commons late Wednesday.
