One attorney says there is nothing in law called an indemnity agreement.
During a news conference hosted by the Opposition UNC on Wednesday, the attorney said only the Director of Public Prosecutions, via an Act of Parliament has the authority to sign off on any plea bargaining.
This as the UNC is taking note of the silence of attorneys involved the matter of Vincent Nelson's claim against the State for an alleged breach of an indemnity agreement.
