Despite the Negeri Sembilan Pakatan Harapan government’s decision not to dissolve the State Legislative Assembly simultaneously with Parliament, Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun said he will leave it to the coalition’s presidential council to decide.
Aminuddin, who is also the Negeri Sembilan Harapan chairperson, said the state government would abide by the presidential council’s decision.
“I already had an audience with Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir to inform him that we will hold the state election next year and Tuanku has no objections,” he said at a press conference after chairing the state executive council meeting today.
