A viral video captured the moment former boxing champion Félix Alvarado put his life on the line and saved a dog from being swept away by flood waters in Nicaragua. Alvarado (37-2, 32 knockouts) came to the rescue of the pooch, who was struggling to walk up the shore of the river as Hurricane Julia drenched the capital city of Managua on Sunday. The former IBF junior flyweight title holder was able to get to the edge of the waterway with the aid of a rope that another man was holding.
