In his evening speech from the centre of Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky promises that Ukraine will "restore everything that was destroyed" after Russia launched mass retaliatory strikes across the country. He adds that 12 people have died as a result, and 80 people have been injured.
