made the announcement on Oct. 5.
Today, we’re announcing
new ways to customize what
you see in your Facebook Feed
so you can discover what’s

Now, you can select Show more
or Show less on posts from the
people and communities you’re
connected to and posts that
Facebook recommends to you, Facebook, via blog post.
By offering more ways to
incorporate direct feedback
into Feed ranking, we’re
making our artificial
intelligence systems smarter
and more responsive, Facebook, via blog post.
To utilize the feature, which will also be tested in Reels,
tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
According to a Facebook
spokesperson, once
"Show more" or
"Show less" is selected,
the posts you see will
be influenced for 60 days.
At first, the options will only be presented periodically.
They will eventually become permanent. .
Facebook is also testing settings to let
users choose how much content they see from
different profiles that they're connected to.
For example, one could elect to see a "normal" amount of content from friends and "less" content from public figures or other pages
