Richarlison was subjected to vile racist abuse after scoring for Brazil against Tunisia.
The Tottenham star scored his team's second goal after Raphinha's first goal on Tuesday.
He performed a knee slide while celebrating near the corner flag.
But as he celebrated his goal, the Parc des Princes crowd began throwing objects at Richarlison and his teammates.
Fred kicked the object out of the field before looking at the crowd.
Moments later, another banana-shaped missile was launched forward in a shocking moment.
It comes as Brazil players displayed an anti-racism message before kick-off.
They posed next to a banner that read: "Without black players, we wouldn't have stars on our jerseys."
The powerful message came in response to racial abuse of Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. by Atletico Madrid fans.
Meanwhile, Brazil wrap up their World Cup preparations with a stunning 5-1 victory over Tunisia.
The five-time World Cup winners are among the favorites to lift gold in Qatar.
And former Brazilian star Kaká likes his country's chances at the World Cup, singling out Richarlison as a key player.
"In the 2018 World Cup, Ney was the absolute protagonist but now we have Vinicius, Raphinha, Richarlison, Antony... who are not young promises but realities," he said.
"This takes some pressure off him, which is very much in our best interest."
