Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin should stop squabbling with each other, as both are “icons of failure”, said a PKR leader.
PKR deputy information chief Chua Wei Kiat alleged that Ismail Sabri and Muhyiddin had failed in their respective duties of leading the country.
"After Muhyiddin became prime minister via the Sheraton Move, he failed to contain the Covid-19 situation and declared an emergency to stay in power, before his administration was toppled by BN and PN’s squabbling. PN's rule marked the 'darkest days' in Malaysian democracy.
"As for Ismail Sabri, his administration is crippled, as he is unable to control the fall of the ringgit, resolve Umno's internal issues, as well as the littoral combat ship (LCS) scandal," Chua said in a statement today.
