NBC News reports that on Sept. 15, U.S. District
Judge Aileen Cannon appointed Raymond J. Dearie to
review the documents that the FBI took from
Donald Trump's home in Florida on Aug. 8.
Dearie is a senior U.S. district judge in New York.

President Reagan, was one of two special master candidates recommended by Trump's attorneys. .

Dearie's appointment also blocks the Justice Department from continuing to use close to
100 classified documents in its criminal investigation. .
