Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on September 7 kickstarted the party's Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The yatra, which will take roughly 150 days to complete, is being seen as a strategy by Congress to improve its chances in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
