Let’s talk about how to get rid of facial hair if you’re a female.
The top cause of facial hair in females is PCOS. But, there are other potential causes, including a tumor on the adrenal glands or pituitary gland or Cushing’s syndrome.
Symptoms of PCOS:
1. Heavy cycles
2. No cycles
3. Acne
4. Infertility
5. Insulin resistance
The top cause of PCOS is high androgens. There is a lot of conflicting information on the internet and various suggestions on how to help improve this condition—but these recommendations can be confusing.
I believe that excess insulin increases androgens, so high insulin is the root cause of PCOS, which then leads to facial hair. In my opinion, a good solution would be to lower insulin.
How to lower insulin:
1. Lower your carb intake
2. Cut out snacks and decrease the frequency of your meals
