A joint team of police and CRPF neutralised a Naxal in an attack that took place on July 22 in Sukma, Chhattisgarh. The encounter erupted during a search operation where 3 to 4 Naxals were left injured. The search operation for the rest of the Naxalites is going on.
“Joint teams of Police and CRPF were carrying out a search operation under Phulbagdi police station limits. Around 14 to15 Naxalites attacked them, during which one Naxal was killed and around 3 to 4 got injured,” Sukma Superintendent of Police (SP) Sunil Sharma said.
