Umno may decide to hold its internal election as required, which is by December this year if the Registrar of Societies (ROS) does not approve its constitutional amendment to delay the party election.
This was revealed by Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan.
However, he said there is a ‘Plan B’, but he declined to reveal what ‘Plan B’ is.
