Due to heavy rains a compound wall of an engineering college, which is located on the outskirts of Mangaluru, collapsed on Tuesday. Three cars were damaged due to the wall collapse. Incessant rains in Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Chikkamagluru, Shivamogga and several other coastal districts in the state were brought to a standstill.
