A crude bomb attack on the ruling CPI (M)’s state headquarters, AKG Centre, on June 30, has led to the escalation of the tension between the Left party and the Opposition Congress in Kerala. The incident took place hours before Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Wayanad. The Congress leader is visiting his constituency a week after his office was vandalized by members of CPI (M)’s student wing SFI.
