India rejects US resolution accusing it of violating religious freedom

The US is moving a resolution against India to make it a “country of concern.” This resolution was introduced by Ilhan Omar in the House of Representatives. The report stated that the Indian government is “promoting a Hindu-nationalist agenda that negatively affects Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Dalits, and other religious minorities”. But India has rejected the report saying it’s “vote bank politics in international relations.” Meanwhile, a US-based Hindu body called it a “Hinduphobic” resolution. Watch the video to know more.
