A week into the political crisis that rocked the state of Maharashtra, the Supreme Court on Monday stayed the disqualification proceedings against the Eknath Shinde-led rebel MLAs till July 12, and sought responses to pleas by them questioning the legality of notices issued by the Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly.
