Amid the ongoing protest over Agnipath Recruitment Scheme, several vehicles were set ablaze on June 18 in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh by the agitators. Agnipath Scheme has been introduced by the Union Government for the recruitment of soldiers on a short-term contractual basis.
