Another clash broke out between police personnel and a group of protesters at Panchla Bazaar in Howrah on June 11. Demonstrators were seen pelting stones. To disperse the demonstrators, Police used tear gas shells.
On June 10, violent protest erupted in Howrah over the controversial remarks of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
