The Marcos camp deflects the issue of the missing Picasso paintings spotted in the home of former first lady Imelda Marcos. Picasso's 'Femme Couche VI' was sighted in photos from Bongbong Marcos' media staff. It was supposedly one of the paintings seized by the Presidential Commission on Good Government in 2014 when Andy Bautista was still its chairperson.
With the imminent return to power of a Marcos to Malacañang, Bautista is worried about possible changes in the functions of PCGG. The PCGG has so far recovered more than 3 billion dollars or 171 billion pesos worth of ill-gotten wealth from the Marcos family. But it has yet to retrieve at least 6 billion dollars more.
