US surpasses one million Covid deaths as nurses demand changes
The United States has crossed the threshold of one million deaths from Covid-19. But as the nation seeks to turn the page on the pandemic, nurses gather at the Washington Monument to advocate for their rights and better patient care. "We are all broken and beaten down and burnt out at this point," says Kelsie Fitzpatrick who says she has considered changing careers.
