Be careful with police at schools! It's the advice of educators who shared their views on the MSJ's Tuesday Talk programme, as the Ministry of Education has announced plans to establish a police presence at high-risk schools across the country. Meantime one UWI lecturer is urging the Ministry not to bypass the link between school violence and children who perform poorly at academics.
